Cecilia L. Salinas was born and raised on the US/Mexico border in Laredo, TX. She received her BA from Texas State University with degrees in Theatre Performance and Production and Public Relations. She began her acting career performing in local theatre productions at the age of 8 and since then has transitioned into film and has fortunately been able to work with director Richard Linklater in Everybody Wants Some (2016) and other independent short films such as Mile Marker 48 (2014) and Hypnotic (2014). 

Cecilia is currently based out of Los Angeles, CA. She is managed by The ESI Network and represented by Eris Talent Agency. 

When she’s not acting on screen, Cecilia works as a legal assistant for the website/domain startup company, DreamHost LLC. Her legal career began back in 2016 when she was the assistant for Judge Oscar J. Hale at the 406th District Court. She handled all of the court’s social media pages, proofread letters and organized the judge’s case studies/legal documents. She was then promoted to being the criminal court clerk, which included handling all criminal case files, assisted in jury selection, swore in witnesses, was responsible for all warrants, motions, subpoenas and bonds to be processed and granted by the court.
